EHS Specialist for 8 months

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As an Snr EHS Specalist at MKS Inc, you will partner with All Israel PSD & VSD (all departments). In this role, you will report to the Snr EHS Regional Manager EMEA.

You Will Make an Impact By:

Partner and provide EHS leadership, direction & support for the site EHS role accountable for legal EHS compliance
Partner and provide supervision and management to assimilate EHS responsibilities, accountability and audits into daily work processes & procedures
Provides advice and guidance to operational and functional staff organisations regarding current and anticipated EHS initiatives and issues
Work directly with the site EHS role accountable for legal EHS, Facilities, Operations and with first line supervision and management to implement the EHS and Sustainability Programs in an effective manner
Ensure and support the local EHS role accountable for legal compliance in the collection and reporting of information from three sites as required to meet Company and Governmental (IMOH/OSHA) reporting requirements in addition to ensuring a uniform level of performance
Leads first line supervision and management to implement the EHS Program including leading incident investigations and root cause analysis corrective action plans and corrective action implementation
Work with local management and supervision to implement all EHS Programs, such as management of hazardous chemicals and the use of personal protection equipment
System administrator for the EHS software system (MASTER), this would also include first, and second line training as required.
Travel within Israel to cover the sites as stated only (currently)

Skills You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in EHS fields (Environment, Safety, Occupational Health) and/or certified Safety Officer.
+3 years of experience
Time Management and risk adaptability to work within established teams and at times independently
Strong presentation and organisational skills
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Excellent English

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

Familiarity with ISO 45001
Familiarity with ISO 14001
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal communication abilities
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
