Software Automation Architect

A dynamic and forward-thinking company is seeking a Software Automation Architect to design and implement robust automation frameworks and strategies that enhance the software development lifecycle. The role involves leading and mentoring a team of automation engineers to ensure the successful execution of automation projects. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Software Automation Architect will improve the efficiency and quality of software products through seamless integration of automation processes.

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive automation frameworks and strategies for software development and testing.
* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering professional growth.
* Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders to identify automation needs and opportunities.
* Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation processes, tools, and frameworks.
* Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on automation best practices.
* Continuously evaluate and enhance automation tools, technologies, and processes to meet organizational needs.
* Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software delivery process.
* Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues and challenges effectively.
* Monitor team performance, set goals, and ensure timely completion of projects.
* Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Requirements:Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a software automation architect or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and technologies, particularly for Ruby.
* Proficiency in Ruby, Python, SQL, Linux, and AWS.
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive product development with a strong sense of ownership.
* Proven experience in delivering consumer APIs used concurrently by thousands of users.
* Expertise in working with third-party APIs and complex database structures.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience leading and managing a team of engineers.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with big data technologies and ETLs like Spark, S3, Redshift, and Temporal.
* Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience in performance testing and security testing automation.
* Understanding of network concepts.
* Proven ability to complete product iterations based on data-driven insights.
* Experience with analytics platforms (a significant advantage).
* Previous experience in leadership or mentorship roles.
