About the Team

We're upscaling our Platform Division and looking for a sharp, passionate Business Analytics Group Manager to lead innovation across complex, cross-functional projects. This is a critical leadership role within our high-impact Business Analytics department.

Your Impact

As the Business Analytics Group Manager, you’ll set the standard for analytical excellence across Papaya. You’ll mentor team leads, drive innovation, and implement scalable practices. Your work will directly influence our business, product and R&D— helping Papaya grow smarter and faster.

Requirements:

8+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale data analytics.
4+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary data teams (BA, BI, DE, DS).
Strong business understanding and ability to bring business impact.
Advanced skills in SQL and Python.
Proven track record of cross-functional project leadership.
Strong communication skills and ability to mentor other data professionals.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in the gaming industry — big plus.
B.Sc. or B.A. in a quantitative field (Engineering, Stats, CS, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor Business analytics team leads, fostering their growth as strategic business partners across the organization.
Own the Business analytics group’s roadmap, setting goals, aligning priorities, and ensuring smooth execution across multiple departments.
Drive cross-functional collaboration, creating clarity and alignment between Business Analytics, BI, Product and R&D.
Set and enforce standards for tools, methodologies, and data structure to ensure consistency and scalability.
Promote a culture of excellence, including code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the team.
Oversee implementation of internal systems to improve visibility, efficiency, and impact.
Champion data integrity, managing QA processes and documentation practices across the analytics lifecycle.
Evaluate and integrate new technologies and analytics approaches that keep Papaya at the leading edge of data-driven decision-making.
Take an active role as part of the Platform leadership, Participate in strategic and managerial discussions that frame how we operate and scale our organization and business.
