A Cad Designer is responsible for analysis and leadership in finding solutions for equipment issues on the production floor, CAD design of production tools such as fixtures, and management of the drawing library.Job Location:Dimona located in the southern part of Israel in the Negev, not far from the Dead Sea area, the lowest location in the world.The factory in Dimona is the oldest in Vishay, having been established in 1986.Vishay Dimona provides its employees with support and tech training, a variety of tools for personal growth and a wide range of opportunities and advanced career within the company.Vishay is a stable and solid company which has served as home and family to thousands of its employees for many years.What you will be doing:Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other professionals to determine project requirements and specificationsCreate technical drawings and plans using CAD softwareIncorporate design changes and modifications as neededEnsure that designs are accurate and meet all project requirementsReview and analyze drawings and plans to identify potential issues and solutionsCommunicate regularly with project team members to ensure that all project goals are metStay up to date with the latest design software and techniquesWhat you will bring along:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fieldProficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and SketchUpAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work independentlyAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience working in a collaborative team environmentWhat can we offer you for your talent:Vishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
