For more than a decade, we've delivered hundreds of projects for technology companies and other organizations, combining strong technical capabilities with deep business-process expertise.
As we expand our AI practice, we're looking for a Junior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to help build and deploy the next generation of AI-powered business solutions.
The Role You'll work at the intersection of software engineering, AI and business—directly with customers to understand real-world problems, design solutions, and turn them into working applications and AI agents.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing engineering role for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, learning quickly, and taking ownership.
Responsibilities

Work directly with customers to understand business challenges and workflows
Translate business problems into technical designs and working solutions
Build AI agents, applications, automations and integrations
Integrate AI solutions with APIs, databases and customer systems
Build prototypes/MVPs and take successful solutions into production
Test with real data, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve results
Contribute reusable components, tools and best practices to iCloudius' growing AI practice

Skills Required

Proven programming skills in at least one major language
Experience with REST APIs, integrations, databases and SQL
Understanding of Git, CI/CD and modern development practices
Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG and function/tool calling
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with customers
Fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and initiative
