Costing Economist

We’re looking for an excellent Costing Economist to join our Finance team in a meaningful and challenging role.
Key Responsibilities:

Project pricing, based on project procedures, checklists and specifications.
Conduct data validation, identify “red flags” and complete missing information as
Work in strong partnership with core corporate functions such as: Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, Marketing and Logistics departments to ensure seamless execution and cost accuracy.
Develop and maintain Excel-based calculation tools to improve departmental efficiency.
Lead pricing proposal presentations in executive meetings and work with senior leadership.
Participate and contribute to global projects

Location: Kadima
Reports to: Costing Department Manager

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background – Advantage.
Minimum 4 years of experience in cost estimation within a medium to large organization – A Must
Experience in pricing large, complex projects within the process industry – Significant advantage.
Strong technical orientation or familiarity with infrastructure/ water treatment projects.
English – full proficiency
Ability to drive processes and people, work independently and collaboratively across diverse interfaces, deliver thorough work and present effectively in meetings.
Willingness to travel abroad as needed.
