We are searching for the best talent for Environmental Health & Safety Manager to be in our Yokneam site.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing all EHS (Environment, Health & safety) related activities, (including emergency response) at HTC.

Also Serving as Site Occupational health & safety officer & Radiation safety officer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

Verifies EHS, and emergency response system compliance.
Verifies Occupational Health & Safety coverage according to IL regulations, J&J requirements (including MAARS) & ISO 45001 requirements.
Verifies Site Environmental coverage according to IL regulations, J&J requirements (including MAARS) & ISO 14001 requirements.
Serves as Occupational health & safety officer, Radiation safety officer.
Provides internal, J&J and external audits coverage and compliance.
Manages all aspects of emergency preparedness and response
Manages emergency preparedness and response.
Manages fire risk compliance (Fire department & FM Global)
Manages all EHS activities at HTC
Plans and implements all EHS G&O and activities (including annual plan).
Plans and implements on site employee effective EHS training.
Writes and trains employees on EHS procedures.
Manages all EHS activities conducted by contractors (radiation, energy, ergonomics, fire safety consultant., etc.).
Procurement of EHS equipment.
Executes all J&J EHS programs.
Product environmental compliance
Professional consultation regarding product environmental stewardship and customer environmental compliance issues, including Correspondence with BWI & J&J.
Occupational health & safety coverage according to the Israeli laws and regulations, Johnson & Johnson standards and requirements (including MAARS) and ISO 45001 requirements or other substitute standard as amended from time to time by the regulations.
Site environmental coverage according to the Israeli laws and regulations, Johnson & Johnson standards and requirements (including MAARS) and ISO 14001 requirements or other substitute standard as amended from time to time by the regulations.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Education, Training:

An Academic Degree , MA advantage

Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the fields of EHS (R&D , Lab’s environment focus - advantage )

safety officer certification (ממונה בטיחות ) - must

Radiation safety officer certification – advantage

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
