Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain internal security tooling for research teams (e.g., red-teaming automation, data pipelines, etc).
Develop scalable services and pipelines to support experimentation, prototyping, and model validation.
Design secure data ingestion and processing flows while protecting sensitive datasets.
Collaborate with researchers to translate prototypes into robust infrastructure components (monitoring, logging, dashboards, APIs).
Integrate research tooling into CI/CD workflows to streamline testing and deployment.
Evaluate and adapt emerging cloud and AI security technologies for internal use.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of hands-on software development experience (Python, Go, or similar), with a focus on backend systems, infrastructure, or internal tooling.
Proven experience building and maintaining developer-facing tools, services, or automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of secure software engineering principles and experience working on cybersecurity-related products, tooling, or infrastructure.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate closely with research teams in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Expertise with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including security and compute/storage services.
Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (Kafka, Spark, Airflow) and modern databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, MLOps tools, or model evaluation workflows (Kubeflow, MLflow, SageMaker, Databricks).
Experience developing tooling for security research, red-team operations, or adversarial AI testing.
Background in building monitoring/logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) or internal dashboards/APIs for engineering teams.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) and modern DevOps practices.
Prior work in a research-oriented environment or supporting R&D teams with platform/infrastructure capabilities.
