Desktop Engineer

Nova's IT team is looking for a Desktop Engineer to join the team.

As a part of Nova's Global IT team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's desktop computing environment.

The position includes offering technical support, diagnosing hardware and software issues, deploying and configuring desktop systems, and ensuring their overall functionality and security. Collaboration with IT professionals and departments is essential for a seamless end-user computing experience.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience as a desktop engineer or 4 years as a senior IT field service support.
Solid understanding of desktop operating systems (Windows, MacOS) and software applications.
Hands-on experience with desktop hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Hands-On experience with Microsoft SCCM.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Hebrew and English
Experience working in a global environment - Advantage
Technical project management experience - Advantage
Strong problem-solving capabilities

Role Responsibilities:

Work in collaboration with the global IT teams (Infrastructure, Cyber, Applications)
Workstation hardware and software troubleshooting.
Diagnose and repair hardware issues, coordinating with vendors for replacement parts when needed.
Resolve software-related issues, ensuring compatibility and addressing application errors.
Manage software updates, patches, and security updates for desktop systems.
Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
Create and update documentation for troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and user guides.
