Job Summary:

The Technical Software Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software programs within the Software Infrastructure Group. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to indirectly lead and motivate development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud architecture, particularly AWS, and proven experience in managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Program Management:

o Define program goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

o Monitor and report on progress, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

o Manage the Program of software engineers Teams and technical leads, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

o Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment.

· Technical Oversight:

o Leverage your technical background to guide architectural decisions and ensure best practices in cloud infrastructure (AWS).

o Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.

· Stakeholder Communication:

o Serve as the primary point of contact for program updates and status reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

o Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.

· Risk Management:

o Identify potential risks and issues early, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

o Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to improve processes and outcomes.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

· 5+ years of experience in software development

· 2+ years of experience in program management

· Strong understanding of AWS architecture and cloud technologies

· Proven experience managing software engineering teams, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

· Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, TFS)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Fluent English
