You are a problem solver with a passion to analyze data and investigate customer patterns. You pay close attention to all the details. So, what will you be doing all day?

Monitor and manage payments risk, fraud risk, chargebacks/refunds, and check & ACH returns across all Workiz product lines.
Set and remove temporary controls on accounts that are flagged daily to reduce Workiz’s exposure
Work collaboratively with customer success, support, and finance to respond to complex risk events
Analyze and continuously optimize risk models
Implement/improve tools, processes, and best practices to mitigate and reduce risk
Investigate risk-oriented incidents and derive methods of improvements
Collaborate with partnering financial service providers to reduce risk across our shared ecosystems

Requirements:

Ideally, we’re looking for

1-3 years of experience in a risk analysis role in banking/payments/credit/fintech or in a payment/fintech organization - huge plus
A curious self-starter individual
Very high analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets and extract insights
Super fast auto-didact learner
Academic degree in science/accounting/economics is preferred. We are open to candidates in their final phases of their studies.
High proficiency in EXCEL.
Excellent written and spoken English
Flexible attitude and ability to cope with changing requirements
Ability to work on late evenings and on Fridays when necessary to meet customer demands
A team player who primarily works independently yet can communicate decisions clearly to internal stakeholders across the company

These would also be nice

Knowledge in SQL, Sisense, or other BI tools
Experience using risk management or fraud protection tools
Experience with Stripe or other payment facilitator as a service providers
