Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Detection Physics and Algorithms, you will lead the detection physics team, driving advancements in simulation, prototyping, and modeling. You will spearhead efforts to enhance CT detection systems and improve image quality through innovative algorithms and rigorous testing.

Your Role

Lead a team of highly skilled technical specialists to deliver innovative and effective technical solutions in CT detection field.
Lead the creation and refinement of algorithms to improve CT detection image quality and accuracy, working with cross-functional teams for seamless implementation.
Oversee analysis, simulation, and testing of detection components, ensuring alignment with project commitments and technical reviews.
Be responsible for defining detection parameters and detailed component requirements, collaborating closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams.
Direct planning, execution, and reporting of image quality testing for CT detection systems.
Manage the transfer to production, including final test procedures, documentation, and training for long-term support.
Formulates and implements long-term strategy
Manages capabilities of the department; to develop and maintain a long-term view of the required competencies and knowledge to introduce new technology.
Ensures an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment
Cooperates with relevant parties outside of the department. Works across the borders of the own department.
Provide support for installed base issues and ongoing assistance to service engineers.
Stay updated on technological advancements, contributing to papers, conferences, and patents.

You're the right fit if you have:

Minimum M.Sc. degree in Physics or equivalent, Ph.D. preferable
A minimum of 5+ years of technical experience as a physicist research design\ algorithm developer in the industry
3+ years of management experience
deep insight into engineering/ architecture/research
Experience in leading research activities and supporting existing projects
Excellent time management and scheduling, multitasking
Ability to coach and motivate a team
Ability to manage stakeholders
Work in a multi-site, matrixed environment

Advantages

Experience in detection physics, including analysis, simulation, and modeling.
Proven expertise in designing and specifying detection parameters and components.
Proficiency in image quality testing.
Experience managing production transfer processes and providing long-term technical support.
