Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.Job SummaryWe are seeking an E3‑level ASIC Design Engineer to join the Israel ASIC Development team, focusing on NAND Flash Controller architecture support, performance modeling, and design enablement.The role supports Enterprise SSD controllers, collaborating closely with architecture, verification, and performance teams across Israel and the US.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and validate ASIC performance models used for architectural trade‑offs and system‑level analysisSupport NAND Flash Controller design activities, including modeling alignment with RTL changes and architectural updatesCreate, manage, and release model tags, branches, and artifacts used by architecture and system teams for performance evaluationCollaborate with ASIC architects, DV, and system teams to ensure modeling correctness, feature enablement, and readiness for design milestonesAnalyze controller performance, latency, and throughput to support IOPS and system performance targetsContribute to technical documentation, spreadsheets, and collateral used for design analysis and early design checksRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldStrong understanding of digital design concepts and ASIC development flowsExperience with performance modeling, simulation, or architectural analysisWorking knowledge of NAND Flash Controller architectures or complex SoC subsystemsProficiency with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflowsStrong analytical and debugging skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with storage controllers, memory systems, or high‑performance SoCsFamiliarity with NAND, ONFI spec or similar system‑level modeling frameworksExperience working across geo‑distributed engineering teamsExposure to RTL, DV, or architectural specification workflowsAbout Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
