Job Summary

We are seeking an E3‑level ASIC Design Engineer to join the Israel ASIC Development team, focusing on NAND Flash Controller architecture support, performance modeling, and design enablement.
The role supports Enterprise SSD controllers, collaborating closely with architecture, verification, and performance teams across Israel and the US.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and validate ASIC performance models used for architectural trade‑offs and system‑level analysis
Support NAND Flash Controller design activities, including modeling alignment with RTL changes and architectural updates
Create, manage, and release model tags, branches, and artifacts used by architecture and system teams for performance evaluation
Collaborate with ASIC architects, DV, and system teams to ensure modeling correctness, feature enablement, and readiness for design milestones
Analyze controller performance, latency, and throughput to support IOPS and system performance targets
Contribute to technical documentation, spreadsheets, and collateral used for design analysis and early design checks
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of digital design concepts and ASIC development flows
Experience with performance modeling, simulation, or architectural analysis
Working knowledge of NAND Flash Controller architectures or complex SoC subsystems
Proficiency with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Strong analytical and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with storage controllers, memory systems, or high‑performance SoCs
Familiarity with NAND, ONFI spec or similar system‑level modeling frameworks
Experience working across geo‑distributed engineering teams
Exposure to RTL, DV, or architectural specification workflows
