We are looking for an Assistant controller for an exciting and challenging position!

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Petah-Tikva.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of IFRS financial statements and Tax reports
Participate in the monthly closing processes and ensure all results are correctly calculated and accurately recorded
Performing complex Journal entries for recording where needed
Manage all aspects of the general ledger
Responsible for reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including intercompany and bank reconciliations, recorded on a timely basis
Working closely with the FP&A team to ensure Revenue Recognition is properly done
Instrumental in assisting with Israeli Taxes and VAT issues
Ensuring strict accounts payable controls and accounts receivable/collection procedures
Preparing 13-week cash flow statements and forecasts on a weekly basis
Work closely with the controller’s team (and the bookkeepers as well) on various special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned
Work closely with the Company’s external auditors
Implementation of internal controls, financial policies, and procedures
Ongoing communication with other departments to understand and record appropriate financial results

Requirements

Qualified Israeli CPA - must

High level of English - must

CPA with 2 years of professional experience post internship - an advantage

Experience with Net-Suite ERP system - an advantage

Internship in one of the Big 4 - an advantage

Worked in the finance team of a company in the professional services sector

Experience working in a shared services environment

Knowledge of Israeli Taxes and VAT

Able to demonstrate the ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while meeting goals and deadlines

Proficiency in MS Office, specifically in Excel

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills, team player as well as independent work capabilities
