Mechanical Team Manager

We are looking for a Mechanical Team Manager to join the company's mechanical department, as a key player in the development of next generation of fixtures and test equipment.

This key position will include the design management of all fixtures, jigs and automatic machines, as well as matrix management of all projects of the entire company's product family.

This position will have close interaction with many departments, like NPI, SPE (System Product Eng.), HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), Thermal, Layout.

What you’ll be doing:

Will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the jigs design team.

With the help of all your team members, you’ll lead JIGs design from concept, through detailed design, and support it during Qualification, NPI and MP stages.

You’ll be the professional authority for all the projects your designers will design.

Support production performing failure analysis and handling reliability issues.

Collaborate in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.

What we need to see:

BSc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience with 8+ years experience in classical mechanical design of mechanisms, jigs and fixtures.

4+ years of experience as a manager/team leader.

Experience in automation (pneumatics, xyz, robots, servo, etc…)

Knowledge and experience in design of machining and sheet metal parts.

Experience in static and dynamic analysis and simulations.

Experience in leading large projects and mentoring designers in detailed designs.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.

Ability to manage multiple tasks while being very well organized (knowhow to work in Multitasking mode with tasks priorities).

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience in Pneumatic control systems and automatic assembling lines.

Professional knowledge in opto-mechanic and micromechanical manufacturing and testing processes.

Experience in the design of complex mechanisms

Background in many manufacturing technologies
