General Summary:

Qualcomm is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the embedded software team in Kfar Netter . The role includes a key contribution to the development of software for next generation communication systems and platforms. The position is part of an engineering team working on embedded software solutions for advanced communication with SoCs.

About the role

The Software Engineer takes part in achieving functional and compliance milestones and contributes to shaping the embedded software infrastructure. The role involves close interaction with hardware, low level software development, and systemlevel integration in a complex embedded environment.

The position includes development, integration, and maintenance of embedded software components, with responsibility for quality, performance, and robustness.

Critical “Must Have” skills/experience for role

At least 5 years C programming experience

Experience with RTOS

Experience with ARM/ARC architecture, CPU subsystem (modes, exception handling), memory management (MPU/MMU, cache)

Experience with hardware integration and low-level driver design and implementation

Broad, system level understanding

Independent, strong self-learning and self-management skills

Advantageous skills and experience

Experience with communication systems

IEEE-802.11 PHY/MAC layers

3GPP-4G/5G PHY/MAC layers

Security and Cryptography

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
