The Imaging and Sensing group at Apple develops Depth and Image Sensing systems such as the revolutionary True Depth camera that powers FaceID, the LIDAR scanner, and the recently announced Spatial video. We are looking for an Engineering Program Manager that will be responsible for driving research & development of ground breaking ML solutions. In this role, you will drive a highly cross-functional team of Algo, HW, SW, and QA engineers - from solutions definition, via development and integration, up to shipment as part of a range of Apple products.DescriptionDriving cross-functional teams from early research phases to product deliveries Creating and maintaining execution plans for meeting ambitious schedule and quality goals Understanding technical issues and driving them to closure by bringing key stakeholders for decision-making Maintaining and improving engineering development processes Facilitating effective communication and transparency between the cooperating cross-functional teams, and to higher-management5+ years of hands-on experience as an Algo / SW / System engineer3+ years of managerial experience (program/project/engineering manager)Excellent communication, presentation, social, and leadership skillsAbility to deep dive into technical details, as well as filter and distill relevant information for the right audienceExperience in multi-national development environmentB.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similarPreferred QualificationsExperience in computer vision / machine learning fields - advantage
