SW Embedded R&D Director

Job Description:
Lead, mentor, and manage team leaders of
embedded software engineers (>20), QA team, System architects.

Collaborate with senior management to define the software
development strategy.

Oversee software development process, architecture, design,
and development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Establish and maintain quality assurance and testing procedures to ensure software
products meet high-quality standards

Job Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• Proven experience in software engineering and product development, with a strong
track record of successful product launches.
• Proven success managing of more than 20 sw engineers within multi-disciplinary
teams environment (HW/SW/BE).
• Experience with managing and development at medium company’s size.
• Deep technical knowledge and understanding of embedded software development
tools, languages, environments, methodologies, technologies, and trends.
• At least 15 years of R&D experience as real time sw developer.
• At least 5 years of experience in managing/leading R&D teams.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing managers.
• Vast experience with Real time/Embedded SW development, RTOS and Linux.
• Proven Experience in SW design, Low and high level, taking into consideration all the
product life cycle support.
• Experience with hardware integration and board bring up.
• Deep understanding of Complex systems architecture (HW&SW).
• Experience with managing teams working on several projects simultaneously.
• Experience in Security, IOT products development is a great advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated, goal driven, innovative, curious, and open minded.
• Coaching oriented manager with attitude of developing his team members.
