PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:

This role is responsible for maximizing the sales, profitability, and brand equity through the management and execution of:

Build, enhance, and create merchandise reports to support the Buying & Trading Manager on Intake, Sales & Product Information as well as own planning & allocation responsibilities.
In-season article reporting and trading to ensure category and product performance meets expectations via a suite of KPIs and tools.
Pre-season planning support to Buying & Trading Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the execution of product and assortment strategy to achieve company eCommerce and concept store targets.
Manage and monitor sales plans versus actuals to provide recommendations and insights on article-level performance for business decisions.
Track, analyze, interpret, and provide recommendations based on key merchandising KPIs.
Analyze routine sales and stock data, maintaining detailed and accurate reports.
Own the in-season replenishment process for the channels.
Allocate products to channels as planned in pre-season buying.
Execute stock re-allocation and consolidation between channels as required.
Apply effective strategies to ensure optimal channel stock control.
Facilitate and provide reports and information daily.
Assist with seasonal product ranging.
Work proactively to propose changes and identify opportunities to continually drive a best-in-class experience for the adidas consumer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
:

Structured, organized and process orientated.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
Strong analytical skills
Attention to detail
Fluent in English
Advanced user of MS Office suite of products – esp. Excel, Access, PPT
Dashboarding/Data Visualization experience a plus

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree, ideally in business with sales focus or equivalent professional experience.
1-3 years’ experience in merchandising or related functions (incl. buying, planning, distribution, budgeting).
eCommerce or retail experience a plus.
Fluent in English
