Track Construction Team Leader

PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Track Construction Team Leader is responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating daily track construction activities. The position is accountable for workforce coordination, execution planning, safety, quality, schedule performance, and full responsibility for site logistics, materials, inventory, tools, and equipment control. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and supervise daily track construction activities. Allocate manpower and distribute work assignments. Monitor progress and achievement of project objectives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality and project requirements. Coordinate activities between work fronts and project interfaces. Report progress and operational issues. Manage logistics activities within assigned work areas. Request and collect materials, tools and equipment from warehouses. Manage inventory levels at construction sites. Control issuance, tracking and return of tools and equipment. Coordinate movement of materials and equipment between locations. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Mandatory: High School Diploma or equivalent. Desirable: Technical education or vocational certification. EXPERIENCE Mandatory: Experience leading and coordinating work teams, understanding of logistics, inventory management and operational planning. COMPETENCIES & SKILLS Leadership and people management skills. Strong organizational and planning capability. Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. English proficiency including reading, writing and speaking. Ability to work under pressure. Diligence, initiative and accountability.
