Assistant to Line Manager

We are looking for a line analyst that will handle the following:

Daily work with the line:

Involved in all activities of the Lines (operational, commercial, financial, logistics)
Participate in the Line meetings with Trades and Countries.
Assist Line Manager in dealing with all relevant Countries to establish goals and targets for services under portfolio and to promote business in these areas.
Work in conjunction with Sales, Countries and Trade to implement and measure performance.
Ongoing monitoring of performance and implementation of action between the line, the trade and the countries.

Reports:

Monitor actual performance vs. budget/targets.
Weekly forecasts, monitoring performance, quantities analysis, profit analysis.
P&L reports.
Report the exceptions in all reports to Line Manager for immediate action.

Projects management:

Provide ideas for performance improvement with data analysis .
Assist in analyzing Line changes.
Manage ad-hoc projects.
Provide analysis for new Lines proposals.







Requirements:

An academic degree in Economics/ Industrial Engineering and Management/ Business Management or similar.
Excellent Command of English.
High skills in Office software – Excellent in Excel and Power Point.
Knowledge of core shipping activities.
