Functions as the strategic business leader of the property's Hotel Operations. Areas of responsibility may include Front Office, Housekeeping and Facility management. The position ensures Hotel Operations meet the standards, targets customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team by fostering a fun, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.

Ensure compliance with labor regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Recruit, train, and support career development, implementing recognition and engagement initiatives.

Plan schedules, monitor attendance, and oversee performance management.

Guest Experience & Brand Standards

Monitor guest satisfaction (e.g., TrustYou scores), identify improvement areas, and act on feedback.

Ensure MEININGER brand standards are implemented consistently.

Promote a culture of hospitality and hands-on guest support.

Financial & Operational Performance

Monitor KPIs, analyze financial results, and identify opportunities to optimize cost and improve hotel profitability.

Collaborate with revenue management to understand market dynamics, competition, and forecasts.

Ensure compliance with reporting, invoicing, and audit requirements.

Manage supplier relationships and operational resources efficiently.

Pre-Opening Activities

Oversee all aspects of pre-opening, including recruitment, training, procurement, and licensing.

Establish SOPs, coordinate inspections, and ensure readiness for launch.

Drive local market entry strategies and support sales & marketing initiatives.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with local laws, safety regulations, and internal auditing processes.

Proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures.

Profile Requirements

Minimum 2 years of senior hotel leadership experience in rooms division.

Strong leadership skills with proven ability to inspire and motivate teams.

Results-driven, with solid financial and operational acumen.

Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.

Collaborative team player, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Strong time management, organizational skills and excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Hands-on, flexible, and willing to support the team during shifts and weekends.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Fluent in Hebrew (native level) and English (B2 – good in writing and speaking); additional languages a plus.

Good computing skills demonstrating proficiency with property management systems, point of sale systems, and Microsoft Office software.

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
