We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Full Stack Developer specializing in AngularJS and Python (FastAPI /Flask). In addition to Full-Stack development, the ideal candidate will also be willing to take on Python quantitative development tasks. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Knowledge and additional background in finance is a plus.

Our Israel office is located in the Bursa area of Ramat Gan and offers a hybrid work model.

About the Role :

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for supporting the commodities risk technology team, operating in a dynamic environment where timeliness and quality of data are of utmost importance. You will work on a variety of innovative and challenging projects, making you a creative problem solver who is attentive to detail and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities :

Full stack Development:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using AngularJS and FastAPI.
Implement asynchronous programming workflows to enhance application performance and scalability.
Translate UX designs into functional AngularJS components.
Identify and create reusable code packages.
Document development phases and monitor systems.

Quantitative Development:

Develop Python scripts and tools for quantitative analysis and modeling.
Collaborate with quant teams to understand and implement their requirements.

General:

Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Collaborate with internal teams and upstream internal data providers.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience working with AngularJS - a must.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working with Python (FastAPI, Pandas, Numpy or similar) - a must.
Bachelor's degree (BE/ Btech) in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous programming and their applications.
Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
Knowledge in Math and statistics.

Preferred Skills :

Experience working with large datasets and time series data.
Experience working with AWS (especially EC2, S3 and Redshift).
Knowledge in finance.
Prior experience in quantitative development.
