Backend Developer for Dev Center

Job Description

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be working on the platform that powers all apps at Wix. Our platform serves a dual purpose: as infrastructure for all of Wix and as a product for external applications. Given its unique position, our platform is a key enabler for many of Wix's highest priority efforts and new features.
In your day-to-day, you will:

Focus on building scalable and high-performance systems
Design and develop with open platform principles in mind
Ensure extensibility of the platform to support future needs
Write clean and maintainable code
Collaborate with other teams at Wix clearly and professionally

*At Wix our work model is hybrid with 4 days a week from our North Tel Aviv Campus and 1 day of remote work from home; please make sure this fits your preferences before moving forward.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in backend engineering
Proficiency with an object-oriented programming language
Experience with Kafka or equivalent and microservices -an advantage
Experience and comfort working with AI - an advantage
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Enabler mindset with a can- do attitude
