A successful Cyber company is hiring an experienced and talented FinOps Engineer

Full Time | TLV | Hybrid

In this position you will:
- You will be in charge of developing a robust program for cloud cost management that includes but is not limited to tagging framework and governance model, budgets and change management, cost optimization lifecycle.
- Hands-on cloud spend investigations, find opportunities to cut off cloud waste, working together with cloud engineering teams
- Create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud
- You will work directly with GCP billing, while collaborating with engineering, Devops, Techops, product, and finance teams to provide deeper meaning to cost and usage data across our product.
- You will be a trusted liaison between engineering and finance; helping finance quantify the cost impacts of engineering operational decisions and helping engineering implement cost best practices throughout their stack.
- You will provide stakeholders in Engineering and Product with the tools to develop and measure cost related insights, metrics, and KPIs to help them better understand their products and how to build them more efficiently.

- Proven experience in Cloud Cost Management

- Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Experience with GCP/AWS billing and cost management tools and processes.
- Knowledge of GCP/AWS services, architectures, and tools.
- 5+ years of DevOps experience, Monitoring and scripting skills (Python, Golang, Groovy, etc.) - a must
- Proven experience navigating complex data sets and pulling out insights
- Autodidact, ability to work independently with different teams
- Excellent English – reading, and writing.
