In your role as an Algorithm Engineer as part of Apple’s Storage Algorithm Group, you will develop best-in-class algorithms for storage media, including signal processing and system level algorithms. You will engage in both theoretical and practical research related to mass storage solutions, which are embedded in virtually all of Apple’s products, while working with top industry professionals. Key Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in developing DSP algorithms
Experience in storage and/or communication algorithms - an advantage
Strong coding skills in Python/Matlab (C/C++ - an advantage)
Strong theoretical and analytical skills
Independent, self-motivated and auto-didactic with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MSc or PhD in EE - an advantage

Description

•Conduct and lead algorithm research, including theoretical analysis and full system simulations •Develop DSP algorithms for FW and ASIC •Hold technical review sessions with key stakeholders to present proposed algorithms and system implications •Solve problems that arise during testing and mass production

Education & Experience

BSC in Electrical Engineering/Computer engineering. MSc or PhD - an advantage
