System Integration Team Leader

NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines

solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for a System

Integration Team Leader to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping

the technological landscape of our organization. The successful candidate for this

position has a track record of strength and aptitude relevant to the following areas:

- Define test plans and key results according to standards, specifications, and

customer requirements.

- Lead a team of engineers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

-Develop analysis and validation techniques that deliver accurate, predictable, and

high-confidence results.

-Responsible for lab testing results and performance benchmarking of hardware,

software, photonics, and algorithms.

-Develop and maintain automation processes.

-Define bench-level qualification and production-level test plans.

-Provide customer support and conduct associated feasibility studies.

-Manage, maintain, and verify the availability of test equipment.

-Perform optical integration and testing in the clean room.

Requirements:

Requirements

- 10+ years experience with running experiments in opto/electric lab environment

- 3+ years of proven experience in a team leadership role.

- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and experimentation.

- Experience with building lab automation (e.g. scripting, Python)

- Experience with high-speed RF and opto/electrical test equipment.

- Ability to effectively manage a volume of work across multiple projects and teams

simultaneously.

- Organized and detail oriented.

- Demonstrates a high level of commitment and drive for excellence

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
