Senior Frontend Developer -Design System

We’re looking for a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in React, TypeScript and CSS to join our dynamic team and take a leading role in advancing our design system.

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of the Elementor UI components library, a core resource used across all the company’s products. You will work in close collaboration with designers and engineers to refine and expand the design system, ensuring it aligns with usability, performance, and aesthetic standards. Additionally, you’ll act as a GO TO person for consistent design and implementation practices, empowering development teams to integrate the design system into their workflows effectively.

Requirements:

4+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer working with web applications.
3+ years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS.
2+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable design systems.
Strong understanding of optimizing UI components for performance.
Experience in writing unit tests for UI components and maintaining robust test coverage.
Experience with Storybook - an advantage
Experience with Material UI - an advantage
Experience with building or maintaining open-source projects - an advantage

Ownership & Leadership: Lead the strategic direction of the organization’s design system, ensuring its alignment with company goals and long-term vision.
Scalability: Build and maintain a scalable and robust design system that supports a variety of applications and teams across the company.
Performance & Optimization: Develop reusable, high-performance UI components with React, optimizing for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaboration: Work closely with designers and developers to implement pixel-perfect user interfaces based on wireframes and design mockups.
Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, maintainable and testable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and trends, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance the development process and user experience.

Responsibilities:

Plan, Develop and maintain the company’s UI components library.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Lead multiple interfaces with relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to ensure effective adoption of the design system.
Mentor and guide developers and designers, helping them contribute to the design system.
