Technical Writer - Hardware

Description:

We’re looking for a Technical Writer with at least 3 years of experience creating clear, accurate documentation for hardware or manufacturing environments. You should have strong English skills and a keen eye for detail, along with proficiency in tools like Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, and DITA/XML. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, bills of materials, etc., so comfort with technical content is essential. If you enjoy working collaboratively with engineers, production teams, and quality assurance to make complex information easy to understand, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Collect and analyze technical details from design documents, CAD drawings, bills of materials, and test procedures.

Develop and maintain a variety of documentation, including:

Assembly and operator manuals

Maintenance and troubleshooting guides

Installation instructions and repair procedures

Parts lists and provisioning documents

Review and update existing manufacturing instructions to improve clarity and usability.

Incorporate diagrams, photos, and other visuals to make content easy to follow.

Participate in design and process meetings to capture updates and action items.

3+ years of experience creating technical documentation for hardware or manufacturing environments.

Professional level of English, and Proficient in Hebrew (written and spoken)

Proficient in Adobe Framemaker, Madcap Flare, Dita/XML.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications accurately.

Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity and detail.

Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with engineers, production teams, and quality assurance.
