Embedded Software Student (RT)

We are looking for a motivated Computer Science or Computer Engineering student who is passionate about real-time embedded software development.

You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that combine STMicroelectronics microcontrollers and NVIDIA Jetson hardware, while gaining hands-on experience in all stages of the software development process.

This is a multidisciplinary environment – you’ll work closely with system engineers, software developers, mechanical engineers, and integration teams. You will be encouraged to explore new technologies, propose ideas, and take part in building innovative solutions.

Job Description:

• Contribute to the development of real-time embedded software in C/C++.

• Support integration of software and hardware across the system.

• Implement new features and tools for existing systems.

• Participate in system testing, field trials, and performance analysis.

• Assist in software version management and development pipeline activities.

• Learn and contribute to algorithm implementation and interface control documentation (ICD) updates.

Requirements:

• 3rd or 4th year BSc student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

• High academic achievement (GPA 85+) – combined with hands-on programming skills.

• Solid programming skills in C/C++.

• Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers (academic or project-based).

• Motivation to learn real-time (RT) development, including bare-metal programming.

• Availability for at least 2 days a week during the semester (more during breaks, less during exams).
