2nd Engineer (2/E) | Offshore – Fast Supply Vessel (FSV)

OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer for an Offshore Fast Supply Vessel (FSV) trading in Israel. If you have strong technical skills and enjoy hands-on engine room work in offshore operations, we would like to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:
Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems
Carry out planned maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on main engines, auxiliaries, and related equipment
Monitor engine room performance, keep logs, and report any abnormalities promptly
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and class requirements
Support bunkering, fuel and lube oil transfers, and ballast operations as required
Supervise and guide engine ratings in daily engine room duties
Requirements:
Valid 2nd Engineer (III/2) CoC appropriate for vessel type and trading area
Previous experience as 2/E, preferably on offshore vessels or FSVs
Valid STCW certificates, medical, and other documents as per international and flag requirements
Good knowledge of engine room systems, maintenance routines, and safety procedures
Good English communication skills and ability to work in a mixed-nationality crew
