Your Mission

As Powtoon's VP HR & Organizational Development, you'll be instrumental in shaping our culture, attracting top talent, fostering a thriving work environment, empowering our team to reach their full potential and making sure we stick to what is important.

This is a unique opportunity to build and scale our HR and OD functions, making a significant impact on our growth and success. You'll be a strategic partner to our leadership team, driving initiatives that align with our business goals and our vibrant, creative spirit, especially as we integrate AI deeper into our organizational fabric and prepare our structure for future challenges.

What You'll Do
Strategic HR & OD Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive HR and Organizational Development strategy that supports Powtoon's business objectives, growth, and unique culture. This includes designing and implementing organizational structures, processes, and systems that enhance overall effectiveness and adapt to market and technological shifts.
AI Adaptation & Workforce Transformation: Lead the charge in assessing and enhancing the company's AI readiness from both a skills and organizational perspective. You will create and implement innovative learning and performance frameworks that facilitate AI adaptation across the entire organization and tailor individual development pathways to leverage AI capabilities. You'll identify skills gaps and proactively design programs to upskill and reskill our talent for AI-driven roles and workflows, ensuring our teams are equipped for the future of work.
Organizational Design & Change Management: Drive key organizational development initiatives, including restructuring, team effectiveness, and change management programs. You'll champion strategies that foster agility, collaboration, and innovation across departments as we grow and integrate new technologies.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding: Lead and innovate our recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain exceptional talent across all departments, focusing on identifying individuals who are curious about and adaptable to AI technologies. Build a compelling employer brand that truly reflects Powtoon's innovative and dynamic environment, highlighting our commitment to AI-driven growth and our progressive organizational culture.
Culture & Engagement: Champion and evolve Powtoon's company culture, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance environment that embraces change and continuous learning, particularly around AI integration. Implement programs and initiatives that boost employee engagement, well-being, and sense of belonging.
Learning & Development: Own our in-house mini LMS Arena. Design and deliver impactful learning and development programs that empower employees to grow professionally and personally, including specialized training on AI tools, concepts, and ethical considerations relevant to their roles. You'll ensure our L&D initiatives proactively prepare our team for the evolving demands of an AI-enhanced workplace.
Management training: up skill out leadership team with tools and best practice management methods.
Performance Management: Oversee and enhance our performance management processes, ensuring fair, transparent, and effective systems for goal setting, feedback, and career development, potentially incorporating AI-driven insights to personalize performance pathways and identify growth opportunities.
Compensation & Benefits: Manage and optimize our compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and align with market trends and company values, considering new roles and skill sets emerging from AI adoption.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role covering both generalist HR functions and dedicated Organizational Development responsibilities.
Significant experience within a fast-paced tech or SaaS company.
Significant experience in working with C-levels.
English exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to connect and train diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders on HR, OD, and AI topics.
AI Enthusiast & Strategist: You possess a strong understanding of AI's impact on the future of work and are passionate about leveraging it to enhance human capabilities and organizational effectiveness. You have a proven ability to strategically integrate technology into HR and OD practices and a track record of driving organizational change around new technologies.
Strategic Thinker & OD Expert: You understand the bigger picture and can translate business goals into actionable HR and OD strategies. You have hands-on experience in organizational design, change management, creating learning plan and fostering a learning organization that is ready for continuous evolution.
Proven Manager Trainer: You have demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs specifically for managers and leaders, with a strong focus on leadership development, coaching, performance management, and effective team leadership.
Culture Driver: You are passionate about building and nurturing strong company cultures where employees thrive and are encouraged to adapt to new technologies and embrace organizational change.
Results-Oriented: You are data-driven and focused on delivering measurable outcomes, including the ROI of AI-driven HR and OD initiatives.
Agile & Adaptable: You thrive in dynamic environments and can navigate rapid technological and organizational change with ease.
Knowledgeable: Strong understanding of Israeli labor law and HR best practices.
