Imperva’s Platform Engineering group is responsible for building the foundation and DevEx for the engineering teams which are building Imperva application security products and creating a unified.

We are looking for a top-tier TechOps manager to lead the platform engineering DevOps Group.

What you'll do:

Own the group delivery, lead both technical and project aspects.
Drive Agile/Safe methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
Ensure alignment of team deliverables with overall design and architecture, promoting best practices and innovation.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance management to maximize individual and team potential.
Work closely with other engineering teams to optimize service performance, deployment, reliability, and scalability.
Handle technical challenges like performance, scale, security, and live production issues.
Collaborate closely with other DevOps team leaders.
Collaborate with the R&D team leads and directors to optimize service performance, deployment, reliability, failover, and scale.
Oversee the team’s deliverables, design, and architecture.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
Ability to lead in a matrix environment demonstrate management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex technical challenges under pressure.
Proven experience working in a production environment.
Deep understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, including containers (Docker), Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience managing infrastructure on AWS Functioning well under pressure
Experience and Strong Knowledge in Containers and K8S.
Experience managing Local Data Center and VMWare (advantage)
Programming Language & Scripting Experience. (Python is advantage)

Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, DataDog, NewRelic
