Python Developer

Zero Networks is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing Data team and take part in revolutionizing the Automation Engine for our flagship product. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing our Data-Platform and maintaining the Automation Engine infrastructure .

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience with developing cloud-based data applications.
Proven experience with deployment of data pipelines.
3-4 years of practical experience as a Python developer. Experience with Python data frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib.
Proven experience as a member in a developing team, with solid understanding of software development principles, concepts, and best practices, as well version control tools such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
Hardworking and dedicated individual with a drive to create and implement new ideas and concepts.
Experience with GCP- advantage
Familiarity with Big Data concepts such as HDFS, Publisher-Subscriber, Object-Store, Data-Lake, etc- advantage
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience with deploying and managing ElasticSearch clusters- advantage

Responsibilities:

Design, test and implement Data-Platform infrastructures to support high-scale data ingestion, transformation and processing
Develop and maintain data pipelines to support the data models and ensure scalability and performance.
Develop state of the art software components, while applying best practices and coding standards. Test and debug to ensure functionality, stability, and continuous deployment of the Automation engine.
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and propose innovative solutions.
