We’re looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Engineer to partner closely with Sales and work across Security, Product, and GTM teams to help prospects evaluate and adopt Sola.
This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and customer engagement - translating real security challenges into solutions on our platform, and guiding customers from first demo to successful deployment.
What You’ll Do
Act as the primary technical point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle
Own early-stage technical discovery and ongoing technical engagement with customers
Design and build hands-on solutions in Sola tailored to customer environments and use cases
Lead demos, POCs, and technical deep-dives aligned to real customer workflows
Tailor the demo to the audience, from high-level executive narratives to deep API-level discussions
Translate customer challenges and complex security requirements into clear, outcome-driven solutions
Reduce friction for the broader team by owning technical engagements and creating reusable assets and best practices
Identify product gaps and communicate clear, structured feedback to Product & Engineering to influence roadmap
Requirements:
5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar) in cybersecurity, including leading complex deals.
Deep understanding of processes, challenges and KPIs in security teams
Hands-on experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), SaaS products, Identity Management and Endpoint Security solutions.
Proven experience integrating security tools via APIs and webhooks across endpoint, cloud, or application security stacks
Strong consultative approach - able to uncover and clearly articulate business and security challenges, and simplify complex concepts
Ability to take technical ownership and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and customer stakeholders
Preferred
Experience with SIEM, IAM, or cloud security tools
Familiarity with automation workflows or low-code/no-code platforms
Experience working with early-stage startups or high-growth environments
