Data Scientist

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to lead YouAppi’s machine learning efforts. This is a hands-on role that involves research, development, and ongoing optimization of our existing models.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Data Science and Machine Learning domain within the company
Research, develop, and fine-tune machine learning models and algorithms
Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into a big data production environment
Work closely with Product and Business Development teams to address business needs with data-driven solutions
Monitor model performance in production and apply continuous improvements

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

3+ years of experience developing production-grade machine learning models
Proven experience with full ML pipeline: data extraction, transformation, analysis, enrichment, training, and inference
Proficiency in data science tools (e.g., Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, scikit-learn)
Hands-on experience with big data frameworks (preferably Spark)
Strong skills in Python and SQL
Experience building models based on tabular data
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
