Job DescriptionA day in the Life:Apply advance departmental knowledge to facilitate problem resolution and implement process improvementsWork at stations on the line as required - ongoing fulfillment of operator tasks on the line (operate complex machines)Maintain a safe work environment and proactively coaches team members on safety topicsImplements safety solutions as part of a root cause counter measure process (RCCM)Leads daily team meetings within the departmentUtilizes established reporting mechanisms to compile daily production metrics in the areas of Safety, Quality and ProductionCoordinate team’s workload, deployment and workflow on a daily basisProvide feedback and support during schedule planning for productionAssess data and provide recommendations when production challenges ariseAble to independently assess impact of production issues and formally escalate when appropriateConsult with Engineering, Facilities and or Maintenance on specific equipment or department issuesWill initiate problem reports for deviations and non-conforming material with our Quality Management SystemWill be a process owner within our Quality Management System and perform root cause investigation, disposition and corrective actions.Conducts formal root cause analysis using existing dataTakes ownership of work instructions or standard operating procedure updatesOwns, facilitates and implements continuous improvement initiativesCoordinates the work of others to ensure project goals are metSupport Validation of NPIsProvide coverage for the team whit capacity constraintsProvides hands one equipment troubleshooting support for the teamKeys to Success:EducationHigh school diploma (or GED) requiredExperienceAt least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environmentKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdaptable in fast-paced manufacturing environmentWell organized, detail oriented and proficient at multi-taskingWorks well independently and in a team environmentPositive attitude towards job and othersHighly motivated and dedicatedStrong use in Microsoft office to analyze data and prepare presentationExperience with Good Documentation PracticesExperience in Productiontechnical orientation
