Mechanical Engineer

For a leading industrial engineering company specializing in custom-made machinery, we are seeking a highly skilled and independent Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of advanced, tailor-made solutions across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical design and drafting of assemblies and machines – from concept to production.
Preparing technical proposals and project cost estimates.
Technical requirements analysis with customers, understanding needs and translating them into engineering solutions.
Providing technical support to the sales team.
On-site customer visits for requirement gathering and solution definition.
Developing customized solutions for various industries (food, chemical, metal, plastics, etc.).
Working with suppliers and subcontractors in Israel and abroad (machining, laser cutting, assemblies, etc.).
Integrating electrical and control components into mechanical systems.
Continuous improvement of existing products and leading technological innovation in machinery and automation.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of experience in machine design and industrial machinery development – mandatory.
Full proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks) – mandatory.
Experience in project costing and preparing technical proposals – significant advantage.
Knowledge in machinery design, pneumatics, and motion/drive systems – significant advantage.
Strong ability to gather and define engineering requirements with customers and stakeholders.
System-wide perspective, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills for complex engineering challenges.
Ability to manage and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Independent and team-oriented work, high responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.
High-level technical English.
