What's exciting about the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our South Area team. In this role, you will provide on-site technical support, installation, and training for customers, as well as general maintenance, repairs, and the sale of ancillary products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, serve diverse customers, and help drive satisfaction through superior service.

Main responsibilities

Customer Support & Service: Provide prompt, professional service for customer installations, technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Verifone products.
Installation & Training: Execute installations and deliver on-site training for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
Maintenance & Repair: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure the functionality and reliability of Verifone equipment.
Sales of Ancillary Products: Identify customer needs and recommend additional Verifone products or services that would benefit their business.
Skills and Experience we desire
Previous experience as a Service Technician or similar role is preferred.
Basic technical knowledge of hardware systems is advantageous.
Formal training or certification as an Electronics or PC Technician is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support customers effectively.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle field responsibilities autonomously.
Strong service orientation, representing Verifone with integrity and dedication.
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment, including rotating Fridays.
Valid driver's license required.
