Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Engineering Student to join Central Engineering SW & AI team and contribute to the development of software solutions, automation tools, and AI-enabled engineering applications.
The role includes designing, implementing, testing and maintaining software components, participating in proof-of-concept activities, and supporting projects that improve engineering productivity and workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements

B.Sc. student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. M.Sc. is an advantage.
At least 2 semesters remaining before graduation.
Strong Python programming skills.
Good understanding of software development principles and object-oriented design.
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Familiarity with Linux environments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Advantages

Experience with AI, LLMs, RAG, or machine learning.
Experience with web development, frontend frameworks and REST APIs.
Familiarity with databases and SQL.
Experience with Docker, containers or cloud technologies.
Personal, academic or open-source software projects.
