Procurement & Operations Specialist - temporary position

In this position

In this role, you will take part in the daily operations of our headquarters, support procurement processes across the company, and oversee global facilities management. You will work closely with various departments, to ensure smooth operational workflows, cost-effective procurement strategies, and high-quality employee service. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, where flexibility, initiative, and attention to detail are key.

Please note that this is a 9 months temporary position.

Requirements:

BA degree or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in operations/facilities role in a tech environment.
Background in procurement, including international sourcing, cost control, and contract negotiation.
Proven experience managing vendors and leading cross-functional projects.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both English and Hebrew.
Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with facilities or procurement management tools.
Independent, proactive, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement and operational policies and procedures.
Manage vendor relationships, including contracts, performance, and payments.
Manage global leasing, space planning, office infrastructure, and coordinate renovations, moves, and future space requirements
Ensure compliance with safety & insurance regulations and manage ISO work plans (ISO14001, ISO9001).
Lead procurement operations across departments (technology, services, etc.), including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.
Track and report on procurement and facilities KPIs, budgets, and spend analysis.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support their operational and procurement needs.
Handle business travel policy and support travel logistics when needed.
Ensure a high level of service and employee experience in all operational areas.
Oversee operations of Hailo’s HQ and support strategic projects.
