Role Overview

We are a forward-thinking team in the automation industry, dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions that enhance industrial processes. We are seeking an experienced Computer Vision R&D Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the development of cutting-edge computer vision systems for a wide range of automation applications.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying computer vision solutions that optimize automation processes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas from concept to production, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

 

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end development of computer vision algorithms, from initial concept, data collection, algorithm exploration, to testing, validation, and deployment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of experts and engineers to deliver innovative solutions for automation challenges.

- Research, design, and implement advanced Computer Vision,

- Leverage existing research, literature, and state-of-the-art tools to develop best-in-class solutions.

- Create computer vision solutions for automating assembly line stages, including inspection, navigation, camera calibration

- Conduct data engineering, evaluate robotic systems, and assess computer vision algorithms.

- Develop interfaces with server-side systems, PLCs, and communication protocols.

- Utilize image\video processing libraries such as OpenCV, Pandas, and others to drive project success.

 

Main Job Details

- Automate assembly line processes through vision-based inspection, navigation, and calibration.

- Evaluate and optimize computer vision algorithms and robotic systems.

- Interface development for seamless communication within industrial environments.

- Defining all hardware elements to support robustness system.

- Segmentation, image\video processing, classical image enhancement and filtering methods.

- Skilled in programming languages such as **Python**, **MATLAB**.

- Experience with libraries like **OpenCV** and **Pandas**.

- Knowledge of communication protocols and interface development with server systems and PLCs.

- Industrial production line experience is essential.
