Overview:
The Student Tech Ops Analyst position represents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing and tracking cloud and other hosting-related costs, driving efficiency, and directly contributing to our organization's financial health and operational excellence.
A strong candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, the ability to work with numbers at scale, professional data analysis skills, attention to detail, and dedication to high-quality standards.
About the role:
Proactively monitor and assess our cloud hosting expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and
efficiency
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track and communicate cloud cost
Develop financial models to forecast cloud costs, using Google Sheets, BiqQuery, CloudZero, etc
Conduct in-depth analysis to identify opportunities for optimization and make informed
recommendations
Collaborate with tech teams to drive cost-optimization initiatives
Define and implement work procedures with internal stakeholders to improve DT’s cloud
expense management
Identify and drive best practices to improve workflows and efficiency
Define, measure, and track KPIs related to hosting efficiency
Additional tasks and activities as required by the business
Qualifications:
Industrial Engineering, Economics, Information Systems or equivalent student with a sense of
excellence
At least 3 semesters left until graduation
Strong technical and analytical background
Excellent English skills, written and verbal - a must
Experience in visualizing and presenting data insights
Familiarity with cloud computing and budget management - a strong advantage
High proficiency with G-Suite or very good ability to learn new suites and technology
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, build and implement processes while collaborating
with multiple stakeholders
Independent, problem-solver, self-organized and self-learner
Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Monday, etc.) and BI tools (Sisense, Tableau,
etc.) - an advantage
Familiarity with SQL - a strong advantage
Willingness to work 60% position
