QA and Automation Manager

N2W Software is seeking a hands-on QA and Automation Manager to lead our quality engineering efforts and drive excellence across both automation and manual testing. This is a key leadership role in a dynamic team working on a multi-cloud data protection platform supporting AWS, Azure, and Wasabi.

What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a QA team of 5–7 engineers, including 3–4 automation engineers and 2–3 manual QA engineers
Maintain a 50% hands-on role, actively contributing to test development and framework enhancement
Own the QA strategy and execution across all product lines, ensuring high-quality releases
Guide the team in best practices, including test design, code reviews, and high-level documentation (HLDs)
Develop and evolve the automation framework, ensuring scalability, stability, and security
Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle
Ensure alignment with CI/CD processes and release pipelines
Proactively identify quality risks and define mitigation plans
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in software development and/or automation architecture
3+ years in a leadership role managing both automation and manual QA teams
Strong experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and modern DevOps tools
Proficiency in Python and strong understanding of software design principles
Hands-on experience with Linux environments, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), and automation frameworks
Proven track record of building and scaling QA processes in agile environments
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
