We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Hardware Engineering to lead the technical development of advanced electronic systems and manage external hardware design contractors throughout the product lifecycle. The role is responsible for defining the hardware architecture, supervising outsourced development, ensuring engineering quality, and supporting projects from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
Define hardware architecture and technical requirements. Lead and manage external hardware design contractors. Review and approve schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation. Oversee High-Speed PCB design, SI/PI, DFM, and design reviews. Lead prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and production support. Collaborate with system, FPGA, Firmware, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Drive technical problem solving and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. 7+ years of experience in hardware and PCB design. Strong experience with FPGA-based systems and High-Speed Digital Design. Experience with interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, MIPI, Camera Link, or CoaXPress. Strong understanding of PCB layout, Signal Integrity (SI), and Power Integrity (PI). Experience managing external design contractors and leading technical reviews. Preferred Qualifications Experience with defense or electro-optical systems. Familiarity with FPGA development and VHDL. Knowledge of DFM, NPI, and manufacturing processes. Key Competencies Technical leadership. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external contractors. Results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
