Financial Controller

In this position, you will be responsible for operating the bank's accounting function, including the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reporting to the Bank of Israel. You will report directly to the Chief Accountant while collaborating closely with key stakeholders across banking, product, and R&D, as well as with the Bank of Israel and external auditors.

Responsibilities
Prepare and edit financial statements in accordance with Supervisor of Banks directives.
Streamline financial reporting processes by designing automated reports and notes, alongside embedding SOX controls to minimize manual processes.
Manage month-end closing processes and prepare monthly/quarterly reports for management and the Board of Directors.
Manage periodic reporting to the Bank of Israel in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Own credit loss models under CECL directives, collaborating with technology vendors to develop and automate the allowance model.
Track and implement regulatory and accounting updates.
Define accounting business requirements (BRD) for new products, map transaction flows to the GL, and conduct UAT and system testing.
Participate in ad-hoc projects and carry out additional accounting and financial tasks as required.
