We are looking for an experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a deep understanding of data engineering principles, with a proven track record in building high-throughput data flow processes and storing data reliably and efficiently

The candidate should be proficient with common data engineering tools, experienced in converting experimental data into applicable systems, understand the

concept of automatic data labeling, and be capable of managing data flow from sensors to core systems

The position is located in Holon*

:Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL/ELT processes – establishing high-throughput data pipelines for various data types, labeling the data, and storing it in a way that supports research and enables long-term accessibility and usability

Build large-scale data infrastructure (Data Pipelines, Data Lakes, Warehouses)

Collaborate with Data Science, BI, and Product teams to understand business needs and implement solutions

Optimize performance, cost, and data security

Develop automated processes for data labeling and annotation to improve usability, reliability, and accuracy of the data

Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Product Managers to understand data requirements

Document processes and create reusable internal tools

:Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Master’s degree is an advantage

Proven experience of at least 3 years as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing complex ETL/ELT processes

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java and SQL – at least 3 years

Proficiency in data engineering tools such as Hadoop, Spark, MongoDB, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc

Experience working with experimental data and converting it into systems that provide actionable insights

Experience working with AWS cloud systems - is an advantage
