An early-stage cybersecurity and AI startup is seeking an experienced VP R D to lead its technology and product development from the ground up. This is a key leadership position offering substantial equity.
The VP R D will build and manage the engineering organization, shape the technology strategy and architecture, and lead the development of an innovative cybersecurity platform combining advanced AI capabilities.

At least 5 years of leadership experience as a VP R D, R D Director
Strong hands-on background in cybersecurity and AI
Experience building complex cybersecurity products from early stage to production
Proven experience building and scaling multidisciplinary engineering teams
Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud technologies, and scalable SaaS platforms
Experience in an early-stage startup environment
Ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement
BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
