Senior Backend Engineer

Each member of our Engineering team is an all-around player who influences the product from the overall experience down to the details of architecture and implementation. You should be passionate about owning a product end-to-end - from design and architecture through implementation, verification, deployment, and monitoring.

What youll do
Collaborate with a team of sharp, impact-driven engineers to solve meaningful, complex challenges in payments at scale
Partner with product managers to ship high-performance, resilient backend systems and APIs that power core payment flows
Architect and build robust, customer-facing services end-to-end, using todays best tools and practices - including AI-assisted development to accelerate design, coding, and testing
Own your code in production: continuously improve, optimize, and evolve the systems that drive our business
Take full accountability for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying backend capabilities with a focus on quality and velocity
