R&D Mechanical Development Intern

We are looking for a motivated engineering student to join our R&D team as part of our mechanical development group. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real mechanical design and development projects for medical devices, under the guidance of senior engineers, while continuing your studies.
Requirements
* Currently in year 2-3 of a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
* Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles (statics, dynamics, materials, tolerances)
* Proficiency with a CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, injection molding, 3D printing)
* Ability to read and create technical/engineering drawings
* Basic understanding of material properties and selection
* Ability to work 2-3 days a week (flexible around class schedule)
* Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills, ability to work in a team
